A 25-year industry veteran, Bolton’s latest advisor recruit has joined from Miami-based wealth shop Cardea Capital.
Bolton Global Capital has bolstered its Miami advisor network with the addition of a seasoned international investment professional.
Cristina Acosta (pictured above) has over 25 years’ experience managing the wealth of ultra-high net worth clients and families from Latin America and runs a client book of around $300m, according to a source familiar with her hire.
She has joined Bolton from Miami-based wealth management firm Cardea Capital where she was managing director for Latin America wealth management, according to her LinkedIn profile.
‘Cristina’s experience, dedication to holistic investment advice and client-centered approach, make her a perfect fit for our team of highly successful financial advisors. We look forward to watching Cristina further expand her business on Bolton’s platform,’ said Bolton’s CEO Ray Grenier.
At Bolton, Acosta has formed her own independent advisory practice 5E Wealth and has been joined by Daniela Emanuele, who worked with Acosta at Cardea. Emanuele (pictured below), who has over 20 years’ experience in wealth management, has been named chief operating officer and director of client services at 5E Wealth.
Prior to joining Cardea in 2022, Acosta worked at Crescendo AM, Boreal Capital Management in Zurich, UBS Wealth Management in Geneva, and at JP Morgan Private Bank in New York.
Last month, Bolton recruited a $200m international from Morgan Stanley and earlier this year boosted its leadership team with the hire of Doug Flaherty as chief growth officer responsible for advisor recruitment and Ricardo Morean as Miami complex manager.
